What Services Do We Offer?
FRIENDS IN NEED provides on-site primary care and dental care as well as referrals to other volunteer physicians and professionals for specialized care.
We serve the working uninsured in Sullivan and Hawkins counties in Tennessee and Scott County, Virginia. These include working single-parent families; people who are working but do not have the income to purchase insurance, those who have jobs that don't provide insurance (part time and full) and people who are becoming independent from government-assistance programs.

$ 4,000 Special Project Grant Awarded from The United Way of Southwest Virginia
The United Way of Southwest Virginia has awarded Friends In Need a “Special Project Grant”.
This grant’s purpose is to help provide dental care to more patients from Scott County, VA in the most professional, efficient, and effective way by having the correct and neccessary tools.
This $ 4,000 grant will enable FIN to obtain 3 new ADEC hand [...]

Seeking Full-Time Dentist
Friends In Need is in the process of searching for a Full-Time Dentist. Individual must be familar with general and restorative procedures including, developing treatment plans, crown/ bridgework, prosthodontics, and extractions. Please email resumes to friendsinneed@chartertn.net.
